October 2011: The documentary I have done about Schluter Systems' sustainable energy efficient office building had a screening at the Greenbuild Expo in Toronto on Oct 5th. This is my second documentary on the subject matter and I would love to see these great technologies become more common place. If you go to the website More than a BOX with Windows you can see both the trailer as well as the complete documentary.

February 2011: For quite a number of years I have been going to CAMMAC in the summer. This organization promotes amateur music making and to help out I have recorded a number of the concerts along with general footage of the activities. I decided to edited some of this material together. If you play an instrument or sing or just love music, you may want to consider CAMMAC as a summer getaway. To get a feel for it watch The CAMMAC sounds of Summer.

November 2010: In 2003 my documentary on Griffintown spawned a coffee table book. It went out of print due to the labourious home-based printing workflow I had to endure to print the 600 copies that sold. There has been renewed interest. So with the help of Adobe Indesign, I created a third edition. More pictures and professional printing and no more collating around the kitchen table. More info at: griffintown.rjburman.com

October 2010: Anne Henderson has just completed a demo for a documentary in progress. In the Key of Claire deals with cancer, hearing loss, refugees, music, nature, and the importance of family. Our main subject Claire is quite engaging and my challenge as the cameraman is to visually reflect the way she is trying to connect all these disparate elements in her life.

May 2010: I love museums. So it was quite a thrill to be, on our last shoot day, at the grand re-opening of the renovated Canadian Museum of Nature. We also got to see the first version of the documentary we were working on in the museum's HD theatre. Imagine, it is being shown several times everyday. What exposure! You can see a clip on YouTube. It's not all my shooting but it will give you an idea and maybe you will want to go there for a visit. It was produced by Picture This Productions.

January 2010: I am not really into music videos but I got called and I came. It turn out they needed someone to direct it as well. So to see the fruit of my labours go to www.hollydish.com and look at the video "Panic Now". I didn't edit it but I love how they treated the image.
